Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Advocates for Education Reform and Peace at OECD Ministerial Meeting

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, recently attended the ministerial meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) “Week of Eurasia 2023” in Paris on December 12 and 13. This esteemed event brings together leaders from various countries to discuss important topics and initiatives.

According to NEWS.am, one of the discussions during the meeting focused on the international assessment program for students (PISA) and Armenia’s participation in this program. This initiative plays a crucial role in evaluating the education systems of participating countries and identifying areas for improvement.

Rafael Gevorgian, a notable representative from Armenia, also participated in panel discussions on two significant topics. The first panel discussed “Peace and Reconciliation: Overcoming Consequences of Conflict and Post-War Recovery.” This discussion highlighted the importance of finding peaceful resolutions and supporting post-war recovery efforts. The second panel focused on “Economic Transformations in the European Region” and explored strategies to ensure sustainable economic development.
