Analysis: The Dictatorship of Words: A Barrier to Progress and Unity in Armenia

According to Vahe Hovhannisyan, a member of the Alternative Projects Group, we are living under the dictatorship of words, trapped in a dualistic mindset. Hovhannisyan argues that inflexibility does not bring solutions for war or peace. We refuse to comply with agreements or even consider sacrificing for the greater good. This dictatorship ties our response to the opinions of others, making it difficult for us to think independently. Hovhannisyan suggests that we need a complete overhaul of our government.

Only a small group of about 15-20 people are trying to decipher the rational text and offer their opinions, but they are ignored and unwelcome. They try to mediate between the two parties and provide warnings and potential solutions, but their efforts seem futile. They doubt their own understanding in this unknown territory. The solution lies in not remaining ignorant and allowing ourselves to be manipulated by public opinion.

Before criticizing those who criticize the government, we should consider the reality through the eyes of a citizen. From their perspective, communication is misunderstood, replies are dismissed, and compromise is nonexistent. The citizens feel disconnected, and their voices are silenced.

We are facing a social issue. What is our reality and what should our response be? How can we avoid chaos, sacrifice, and crisis? It is evident that there are mistakes being made, and these mistakes only worsen the situation. Unfortunately, we lack the mechanisms and political formats to correct the process. However, there are still opportunities available to us. The problem lies in our lack of unity and a collective understanding outside of the dictatorship.

This situation in Armenia highlights the need for change. We must break free from the dictatorship of words and find a way to address the challenges we face.
