“National Security Service of Armenia Uncovers Wave of Organized Crime: Drug Trafficking, Violence, and More Revealed in Recent Operations”

According to the official reports of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, a series of organized crime activities were uncovered between December 12th and 13th. The authorities revealed a staggering number of offenses, including 55 cases of drug trafficking, 8 cases of illegal possession of firearms, 7 cases of physical violence, 6 cases of theft, 3 cases of bodily harm, and 2 cases of extortion. Additionally, they also uncovered crimes such as hooliganism, obstruction of official duties, illegal possession of property, forgery, counterfeit money, counterfeit documents, and weapons.

Amidst the revelations, there were also incidents involving the preparation or use of judicial acts, failure to comply with the execution of the act, escape from custody, or confiscation of property. Moreover, there were cases of violation of requirements for the preservation or use of evidence, as well as the destruction of public or community property. Furthermore, the authorities reported one case of a transportation safety violation and 6 cases of attempted murder, with 5 of those cases already being resolved.

In addition to these startling findings, 3 cases of the registration of possession of explosives or ammunition were also reported. Within just one day, the ongoing operations in the Republic of Armenia resulted in the arrest of 7 individuals. Moreover, 13 individuals were found with varying degrees of bodily injuries.
