“Murder Shakes Yerevan: Doctors in Critical Condition, Martial Law Imposed”

On December 10, a murder took place in Yerevan. At 20:05, the New Norkh Medical Center, a branch of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, received a report about two injured individuals with “injured faces and severed limbs” being urgently taken to their facility by the emergency medical team from the “St. Gregory the Illuminator” Medical Center. The doctors at the hospital informed the authorities that the victim was in critical condition and that the surgery had not yet been performed.

At a certain point, the emergency doctors who were transferred from the aforementioned medical center were relocated to another city due to the severity of the situation.

The doctors have notified the authorities that the victim’s condition is critical and that the surgery is still pending.

The authorities have clarified that the individuals have been transferred from the hospital to Shahumyan Street.

The authorities have also provided information about the doctors involved, Davit S., a 26-year-old resident of the Tavush region, and Gevorg M., a 27-year-old resident of Yerevan.

During a certain period of time, the authorities at the New Norkh division made contact and informed that one of the doctors, Davit S., had died due to a lack of expertise.

Consequently, martial law has been imposed on the Avan and New Norkh administrative districts.

The authorities, along with the Investigative Department, are carrying out necessary operational and investigative actions to clarify the circumstances of the case, identify the perpetrator of the murder, determine the identity of the victim, and reveal the motive behind the crime.

According to information from the website, the authorities have identified the individual responsible for the crime based on operational data.
