A series of explosions occurred in Kiev on December 11, accompanied by an announcement of an aerial terrorism threat made by the UNIAN. These explosions are believed to be the result of terrorist attacks in the Darnitskiy and Holosiivsky districts. The Mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, has stated that the fire at Darnytsia was caused by a gas explosion and only caused damage to an unfinished building. Currently, there are two injured individuals, a man and a woman, receiving medical treatment.
Furthermore, there were reports of a fire at the warehouse of Darnytsia, but thankfully, no casualties or injuries have been reported.
In another concerning development, on the morning of December 11, military forces announced that approximately four thousand Russian troops crossed the border into the Kiavi region. The general security forces were able to intercept and neutralize eight airborne missiles targeted at the capital city. However, it is alarming that the anti-aircraft defense system failed to intercept eight air balloons flying towards the city center.
