“Snowfall Traps Trucks: Rescuers sprung into action to save stranded drivers in Armenia”

On December 9th, at 15:32, the emergency center of the Syunik regional administration received a distress call regarding a trapped truck in the village of Verin Kotanan. The truck was unable to continue its journey due to heavy snowfall, causing the road to be closed. The assistance of rescuers was urgently required. The NDN search and rescue service was immediately informed of the situation. The incident occurred near the first aid center of the NDN PSC in Aghvani, where a military calculation is stationed.

Rescuers promptly approached the Volvo truck, which was approximately 300 meters away, and facilitated its journey. As they were returning, they came across another truck, a Scania, driven by V, A., that had also become stuck due to the snowfall. This truck was located about 150 meters away. Fortunately, the road was accessible on both sides, and rescuers now faced the challenge of helping both stranded trucks.

Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story as the dedicated rescuers work diligently to resolve the situation and clear the snow-covered roads for safe travel in the area.
