“Owl Concert Takes Center Stage as Ruling Party MP Candidate performs in Alaverdi Municipality”

Today, the Alaverdi municipality is hosting an owl concert, featuring a special performance by David Gomaski, the chosen MP candidate from the ruling party. This event has drawn a lot of attention, especially since numerous Red-breasted Flycatchers were brought on December 8th. It is worth mentioning that the Alaverdi MP has recently announced his membership in the “Country of Smiling” political party.

During this concert, the mayor of the community selected David Gomaski as the MP candidate from the ruling party. This decision is significant considering the breakdown of MPs in the area. Out of the 27 MPs, 13 belong to the ruling party, 13 to the “Country of Smiling,” and one MP is from the Armenian National Congress (ANC). The “Country of Smiling” and ANC have formed a coalition, making them the ruling party with 14 mandates. As a result, Arakadz Tamazyan has been appointed as the mayor.

However, there has been a recent development in the political landscape. Simon Zakharov, a member of the “Country of Smiling” political party, has decided to leave the coalition and become an “independent” member, while still supporting the ruling party. This decision has had consequences, as it has led to 14 voices of no confidence being expressed against the acting mayor.

These recent events in Alaverdi showcase the dynamic nature of politics in Armenia. The owl concert and the involvement of various political parties have generated a lot of buzz and speculation among the public. It will be interesting to see the impact of these developments on the upcoming elections and the future of Alaverdi’s political landscape.
