Armenian Minister of Economy Strengthens Economic Ties with EEC Leadership during Tehran Visit

The Armenian Minister of Economy, Narek Ter-Grigoryan, recently visited Tehran and had a meeting with the leadership of EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). Also present at the meeting were the Armenian Ambassador to EEC, Arsen Avagyan, and the Armenian commercial attaché to EEC, Vardan Kostanyan. The main focus of the discussion was on increasing trade turnover and exploring opportunities to expand economic cooperation between Armenia and EEC. An important topic of discussion was the potential of reaching a trade volume of up to 3 billion dollars. Additionally, the parties also talked about the possibility of establishing a trade center for Armenian products within EEC. Ter-Grigoryan’s visit also involved separate discussions with EEC officials on areas such as agriculture, labor, and social development.

During the meeting, the participants delved into various aspects related to joint production development and reviewed previously agreed-upon matters. This indicates the commitment of both Armenia and EEC to foster stronger economic ties and enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
