“Dilijan National Park Forest Fire Contained: 12 Hectares Affected, 50 Firefighters and Helicopters Tackled the Blaze”

Dilijan National Park recently faced a forest fire that broke out on December 6th at 11:20 am. The fire was contained in the 3rd section of the POC-ECO, covering an area of 12 hectares. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of firefighters, approximately 10.5 hectares were successfully extinguished. These details were provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The firefighting operation involved a total of 50 firefighters, 410 forestry employees, helicopters, bulldozers, and 120 forestry tools. This collective effort was crucial in tackling the blaze effectively. Currently, 20 firefighting personnel continue to work diligently at the scene to ensure safety and minimize any potential risks.

Dilijan National Park’s forest fire incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced in combating such emergencies.
