“Ministry of Education Invites Participation in Change to Management Order for Compulsory Military Service Information”

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports is inviting citizens to participate in the process of making changes to management order No. 451-N, which was implemented on April 12, 2018. The purpose of these changes is to regulate the provision of information to citizens who are liable for compulsory military service but have missed the deadline for submitting information related to vocational qualifications.

According to the 11th point of the approved order, individuals or their authorized representatives must provide information regarding educational and vocational qualifications by September 30 each year. This information is then divided by the authorized educational and vocational qualification body for further processing.

The 12th point of the order states that if the information is not provided within the established deadline or if the necessary documents are not presented, the public authority responsible for the protection of the right to education and vocational training allows citizens to reassign their vocational qualifications within 15 days after September 30. The National Quality Assurance Council is in charge of confirming this process.

The Ministry acknowledges that citizens face difficulties in obtaining information regarding vocational education, deadlines for information submission, procedures for obtaining an educational certificate, and vocational qualifications. Therefore, the proposed changes aim to improve the system and extend the deadline for information submission until October 30.
