“Hayk Newspaper Takes a Stand: Urgent Bill of Rights Discussion Pushes Armenia to a Critical Juncture”

The editor-in-chief of “Hayk” newspaper, Avetik Chalabyan, has declared that the newspaper’s existence has become an urgent necessity. He revealed that on December 4, at 10:00 am, the National Assembly will officially discuss the draft bill of rights proposed by “Hayk”. Chalabyan stated that the majority of National Assembly representatives, who are members of the “Civil Contract” political alliance, openly express their desire to reject the acceptance of the bill of rights. This rejection aims to swiftly resolve the Artsakh issue and hand it over to Turkey, due to the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the loss of Artsakh’s status from the Republic of Armenia. Chalabyan called on all “Hayk” supporters to gather by the National Assembly entrance on Wednesday at 10:00 am to demonstrate unity, resistance, and express their collective will against this foreign administration.

It is noteworthy that “Hayk” newspaper has proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia related to resolving the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the danger of losing Artsakh’s status from the Republic of Armenia within the current amendments of the Armenian Constitution.
