Gas is now leaking from the site of military operations in Libya, as reported by the BBC. Additionally, the Libyan armed group known as “Hellah” has started targeting Israeli positions along the border. In response, the Israeli military has taken action by shooting down a Libyan drone that entered their airspace. According to Reuters, “Hellah” has claimed two casualties in the Libyan border town of Hula.

Prior to the recent escalation in the civil war, there were frequent clashes along the Israeli border. The armed group “Hellah” claims that around 100 people, mainly Libyan forces, have been killed in these clashes. Another armed group called “Islamic Jihad” has made reports on their Telegram channel, stating that they have launched 107 rockets with precise targeting capabilities towards Israel’s Kiryat Gat.
