“US Cracks Down on Iran and North Korea with Tough New Sanctions: Terror Connections and Cyber Espionage in the Crosshairs”

The US has announced additional sanctions against Iran and North Korea, targeting individuals and organizations identified on the United States Department of Treasury’s website. The updated list includes Iranian citizens and organizations connected to terrorist activities, and North Koreans involved in cyber espionage.

Senator Tom Cotton criticized President Joe Biden’s foreign policy, stating that his support for Iran in the Middle East, particularly in Eastern Europe, is flawed. Cotton alleged that Iran has recently launched attacks in the region against American interests, with little response from Washington.

A few weeks ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia summoned US Ambassador to Armenia, Lynne Tracy, seeking clarification regarding the United States’ hostile actions in the Karabakh region of the South Caucasus.
