A tragic incident occurred on November 29 in the province of Armavir. At approximately 16:00, the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Health in the Republic of Armenia received a report from the management of the “Vagharshapat” Medical Center. They informed that a group of doctors from the Emergency Assistance Division had been called to the houses of residents on Aygegortsner Street in Norakert village. There, they discovered the lifeless body of 83-year-old resident, Ruben V.

Witnesses and residents from the same building confirmed the identity of the deceased. It is believed that earlier in the day, around 11:00, Ruben V. was using fire to burn weeds in the backyard of his house. Unfortunately, due to unknown circumstances, the fire spread and engulfed him. As a result of the burns he sustained, Ruben V. tragically passed away.

The incident was immediately reported to the investigative department of Vagharshapat for further investigation. Preliminary findings from the forensic medical examination have determined that the cause of death was burn injuries.
