A new road section, called the Ishakov-Arshakunyats road, is set to be constructed in Yerevan in order to regulate transportation flows and alleviate congestion, as announced by the Yerevan Municipality, per NEWS.am. This road will link three administrative districts of the capital and bring much-needed relief to the current roads in the area. The project is being spearheaded by Vahram Avinyan, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia, Hayk Marutyan, the Mayor of Yerevan, and Donald Lambert, the Director of the Armenian Development Bank’s Yerevan Branch. The financing and implementation agreements for the project have already been signed, paving the way for its execution.
