“Artsakh Representatives Invited to CSTO Meeting on Wednesday, Decision Pending”

The representatives of Artsakh have been invited to the CSTO meeting on Wednesday, according to our sources. However, if there is no consensus between the formalities and the authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting may not take place. It is advisable to prepare for a closed format and announce the decision after the meeting.

After the September declarations, the CSTO representatives were not initially invited to the meeting. Their disagreement lies not with the authorities of the Republic of Armenia, but rather with ensuring the security of Armenia. Therefore, it is only a matter of time before the issue of inviting the CSTO to the meeting is discussed, preferably in a “silent” format.

We have received information regarding two mandates being requested. The first request is for Artur Harutyunyan to be appointed as deputy minister, and the second request is for one representative from Samvel Babayan’s association to retire from their appointment. The second question pertains to the formation of an international committee to investigate the issue of Artsakh, an idea put forth by Vardan Osipanyan.

The authorities of the Republic of Armenia are currently in discussions with Osipanyan regarding this matter. According to the law, the authority to organize the activities of the established commission will be responsible for presenting the issue of Artsakh in international platforms. It is also expected that international experts will be included in this process.
