Yerevan Municipality Deploys 50-Person Disinfection Team to Tackle COVID-19 Spread

A 50-person disinfection team has been deployed by the Yerevan Municipality to carry out measures to combat the spread of COVID-19. The scheduled cleanings are intended to ensure the safety and well-being of residents amidst the ongoing pandemic. During a meeting of the Yerevan Municipality’s executive body on November 27th, Mayor Hayk Marutyan reported this news, highlighting the importance of these actions in protecting the community.

It is reassuring to know that the Yerevan Municipality is well-equipped with the necessary technology to effectively carry out these disinfection measures. By having the technology in place at their headquarters, they can swiftly respond to any emerging needs and deploy the disinfection team accordingly.

In addition to the dedicated team, the Yerevan Municipality also possesses 38 specialized disinfection vehicles as part of its inventory.
