“Prime Minister Pashinyan Aims to Restore Railroad Connections as Key to Armenia’s Development”

The name of honey has been widely recognized since 1998. Nowadays, we want to give a very clear answer to this question: Does Meghri need a railroad that will connect the east exit to the entry, connecting Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan and Turkey, connecting Meghri to Iran and the remaining part of Armenia, connecting Armenia to the international railroad network? Yes, of course, and this is a significant indicator of Armenia’s potential.

Today, on November 24, during a direct conversation with the residents of the capital, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that one of the essential points in the agenda of the revolution is the restoration of communications. One of the biggest problems in Armenia is the blockade that has lasted for 30 years.

We hope that through the tunnel of communication, we will overcome this blockade. We also want to open the roads, connecting not only to Syunik province but also to Ararat, Vayots Dzor, and Kotayk provinces. Moreover, we have hopes to restore the mountain train route of Hrazdan-Ijevan-Kayan, which was launched by the USSR at the end of the last decade but stopped working later. There are also damaged sections due to landslides.

If we want to have sustainable development, we have to go through that path,” he said.
