On November 23, a major accident occurred in the Syunik province, as reported by shamshyan.com. The incident took place around 21:00 on a 25 km section of the Sisian-Yerevan highway. There were unidentified incidents involving trucks from the Iranian Islamic Republic’s city of Siamaj Salmani, which were of the Scania make, and Harant Khnkoyan, which were of the Iveco make.

Fortunately, there have been no casualties reported so far. However, the road has been completely closed as a result of the accident, making it impassable for the time being.

The aftermath of the accident has led to an ongoing investigation by the Traffic Police in the Syunik province. They are currently conducting the necessary investigations and preparing the required documents.
