“Russian President’s Spokesman Urges Armenia to Stay Committed to Foreign Policy as CIS Summit Snub Raises Concerns”

Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed hope that Armenia will maintain its current foreign policy direction and continue to be a partner in political and military cooperation with other countries. The absence of Armenian representatives at the CIS summit in Minsk was mentioned by Peskov, who stated that they would continue to maintain communication with Armenia. This statement was reported by RIA Novosti. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had previously announced his inability to participate in the CIS summit, as confirmed by Presidential spokesman Yuri Ushakov, who also informed reporters that no Armenian representatives attended the meeting.
