“Children’s Center Under Investigation: Food Safety Violations Shut Down ‘Sayadian’ Production Lines”

News.am reports that safety inspectors from the Food Safety Monitoring Center in Yerevan are currently conducting an inspection at a children’s center to renew its food certification. The inspection is focused on “Sayadian” LLC, also known as the Leader Land Children’s Center, located in Yerevan. Specifically, samples from the “Kotov hlopia” and “Tanapur” production lines are being analyzed, along with additional laboratory research.

According to the State Food Safety Service (SATM), the samples taken from the “Kotov hlopia” production line were found to contain “ACXM” (analogous components of artificial cream). Similarly, the samples from the “Tanapur” production line were found to contain “MAFAnMK” (methafil and facultative anaerobic microorganisms). These findings indicate that the products do not meet the requirements outlined in the Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union and present a potential danger, as stated in the RA Law on Food Safety.

In response to the inspection results, the director of the Food Safety Monitoring Center has made the decision to suspend the separate operations of “Sayadian” LLC, specifically the production of “Kotov hlopia” and “Tanapur” products. The identified violations must be rectified within a specified deadline.
