“German Ambassador for Cooperation and Development Accredits Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Strengthening Armenian-German Partnership in Development”

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received the official letter of accreditation from Germany’s Ambassador for Cooperation and Development, Nilse Enen. Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the German-Armenian partnership in the field of development and reform, which has been ongoing since 2014. He emphasized the importance of Germany’s involvement in implementing the “BMZ-2030” reforms across different sectors of Armenia’s administration. According to the Prime Minister, recent advancements in bilateral relations between the two countries have contributed to Armenia’s potential growth and strengthened cooperation with the German government.

Acknowledging the partnership, Enen assured that Germany will continue supporting Armenia’s development by expanding its potential in areas like energy, innovation, scientific education, agriculture, and other sectors. The accreditation of the German Ambassador for Cooperation and Development demonstrates Germany’s increased involvement in Armenia’s development.

In other news, discussions have been held regarding the Russian military’s intervention in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of the Republic of Artsakh. This intervention has led to more than 100 displaced individuals facing humanitarian issues and challenges regarding resettlement. Enen also shared information about an increase in displaced individuals from Nagorno-Karabakh in the region of Ararat, highlighting the need for the German government to address these existing problems and contribute to finding a resolution.
