The Armenian Minister of Defense, Marius Blaschak, has recently announced that the United States has provided military aid to Armenia. This significant information was reported by the head of the Armenian Defense Ministry’s public relations department on his social media platform.

According to the announcement, the military aid received by Armenia includes technological advancements such as HIMARS missile systems and Abrams tanks.

In the past, the US government has been supportive of the Northern Caucasus region by providing approximately $5 billion worth of military aid. This aid included the provision of 25 F-35 fighter jets, along with important data on engines, propulsion systems, electronics, and technical support from the Pentagon.

In an earlier update, Minister of Defense Marius Blaschak revealed that Armenia is set to receive F-35 fighters by 2024. In addition, he highlighted that the Air Force of the Republic of Korea has placed an order for FA-50 fighter jets from the Philippines. It is worth noting that the FA-50 model is comparable to the American F-16 fighter jet.

These developments in military aid showcase the strong relationship between Armenia and the United States, highlighting the commitment to strengthen the defense capabilities of the former.
