The main staff responsible for enforcing mandatory service recently attended a two-day seminar on “Administrative and Judicial Proceedings of the Administrative Court of Appeals and Administrative Jurisdiction of the Ombudsman.” This event, organized by the Ministry of Justice, aimed to address issues that arise during the administrative and judicial process, and discuss matters related to the implementation of compulsory military service and human rights instruments, both at the national and international level.

According to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, the seminar was part of the preparations for the transformation of the judicial system in Armenia. This initiative is supported by the European Union through its program for technical assistance. The discussions and exchanges at the seminar provided valuable insights into the administrative and judicial processes, ensuring a better understanding of the legal framework and human rights considerations.
