Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, has expressed his concerns regarding Israel’s nuclear monopoly in the Middle East. In an interview with Al Jazeera, Fidan emphasized that the possession of nuclear weapons by Israel is a well-known but unacknowledged fact. He further highlighted that Israel has been developing its nuclear capabilities without signing a non-proliferation agreement, with the support of both the United States and Europe. Fidan stressed the significance of achieving comprehensive disarmament in the region and beyond to safeguard security and prevent the escalation of the present military crisis.
