Yerevan, Armenia – The 21st regional summit of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) in Yerevan was attended by President Piotr Kamyen. The actions of the CSTO and subsequent military response from Israel on October 7th led to a deadlock, highlighting the aggressive actions of adversaries in the region. Tens of thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes in the past two months alone, seeking shelter in Armenia. Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed his privilege in listening to their stories, emphasizing the universal truths of justice and the responsibility of political leadership in ensuring peace and security.

Armenia has witnessed extraordinary times, with a crisis of confidence leading to the erosion of crucial institutions. The CSTO has played a significant role in achieving stability and security in the turbulent region, but a strong political will is necessary to sustain comprehensive values. The events in Kovkas served as a stark reminder that political calculations often overshadow absolute values of truth and justice.
