“Zhoghovurd Newspaper Reveals Excessive Fuel Consumption by High-Ranking Officials: Prime Minister’s Car Shrouded in Secrecy”

The newspaper “Zhoghovurd” has recently launched a series focusing on the excessive fuel consumption by vehicles used by high-ranking officials and their additional benzene requirements. In light of this, the newspaper has sent an inquiry to the Chief of Staff of the RA Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, to understand the amount of benzene consumed by the car serving the Prime Minister over the past year. The inquiry also seeks information about the number of cars serving Pashinyan and the consumption of each vehicle. Furthermore, the newspaper has requested an increase in the benzene supply for all servicing cars and whether additional attention is needed in this regard.

However, the RA Ministry of Public Administration, responsible for official secrecy, responded to the inquiry in an evasive manner. The newspaper also submitted a document signed by Arthur Gasparyan, the person responsible for protecting official secrets in the Republic of Armenia. This document states that the protection of public security for those subject to special measures is carried out in accordance with the law.

Yet, the response received suggests that the car serving the RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is subject to state secrecy and publication. It is worth noting that before becoming Prime Minister, Pashinyan himself was critical of the alleged misuse of funds for the preservation of authorities. Ironically, he appears to have encountered a similar fate now.
