Margara Checkpoint Construction Nears Completion, Open Borders Within Reach

The construction of the Margara checkpoint is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by next week, according to Rustam Badasyan, the head of the State Committee on Mandatory Executive Services. He mentioned that due to urgent matters, the construction has been delayed but is now being carried out by one person to expedite the process. Badasyan also assured that there are no corrupt risks involved in the construction. Furthermore, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that negotiations are underway between Armenia and Turkey to open the Armenian-Turkish border, which will benefit citizens of third countries and diplomats with diplomatic passports. The restoration work at the Margara checkpoint is being carried out with a clear plan in mind, and the negotiated terms are hoped to improve the conditions of life in the region.
