“Explosion at Yerevan State University Campus Leaves One Dead, Three Injured – Two in Critical Condition at Armenia Medical Center”

Two out of three injured individuals have been admitted to the “Armenia” Medical Center, with one in severely critical condition undergoing resuscitation and the other currently under investigation, according to a report by the “Armenia” MC.

“The severity is attributed to chemical burns. The second injured person will be transferred to a burns center after the investigation,” stated the hospital.

Meanwhile, the third injured individual, who is a staff member of the chemical plant, is in a satisfactory condition at the “Heratsi” Medical Center.

In earlier news, a fire broke out this morning in one of the buildings on the Yerevan State University campus, resulting in an explosion. This incident claimed one life and left three people injured. The fire has since been extinguished.

Among the injured are 70-year-old Seyran Bichakhchyan and 65-year-old Aron Hakobyan, both of whom were transported to the “Armenia” Medical Center. They suffered from burns, complex injuries, and third-degree chemical burns.

Another injured individual, whose condition is serious, was transferred to the “Heratsi” Mental Health Center.

Additionally, armenia.news reported that two more injured individuals, a 36-year-old man, and a 25-year-old woman, have been transferred to the “Heratsi” Mental Health Center.
