“Armenia and Azerbaijan Make Progress on Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Coordination, Trilateral Agreement Possible”

The process of coordination with Azerbaijan in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is currently underway. During the National Assembly on November 17, Gevorg Papoyan, a representative of the Civic Contract party, announced the establishment of an inter-parliamentary initiative called “Civic Agreement.”

Papoyan mentioned that Azerbaijan’s position has been influenced by the meeting of the co-chairs in Washington, while Armenia’s position is solely based on the interests of international partners.

The expert believes that there are prospects for signing a trilateral agreement between the conflicting parties, although there may be some obstacles hindering the signing of the agreement.

Artur Hovhannisyan, the head of the parliamentary group of the Civic Contract party, mentioned that the agreement could potentially be signed by the end of this year, emphasizing that the Armenian side is willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
