The regional court in Makhachkala has handed down a sentence of one year and 25 days to the individuals involved in the airport riots, according to a statement from the Dagestani Supreme Court’s press service, as reported by Interfax. The Dagestani Court has received 17 materials related to the riots involving 17 residents, which were submitted as evidence in the criminal case against the riot participants. The unrest in Makhachkala began on October 29th following a flight delay from Tel Aviv. The court has determined that the participants of the riots caused approximately 285 million rubles in preliminary damages. As a result, a criminal case was opened involving 201 individuals, and 155 administrative protocols were issued.
