Samvel Sahramanyan, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, and Jalal Harutyunyan, Deputy Head of the Defense Army of Artsakh, have been invited to attend the investigative committee by Andranik Kocharyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly. Kocharyan stated during a briefing with journalists that he has sent invitations to Sahramanyan and Harutyunyan and is awaiting their response.

Kocharyan emphasized that Sahramanyan, who served as the Chief of Staff of the Defense Army of Artsakh during the 44-day war, can come to the investigative committee without any restrictions until December to answer the questions that need to be addressed.

Kocharyan also mentioned that he spoke with Harutyunyan and indicated that if a small personal issue is resolved, Harutyunyan will likely be able to participate in the committee meeting.

The deadline for the work of the investigative committee of the National Assembly, which is studying the course of events during the 44-day war and the activities of the Chief of Staff, is December 3.
