The residents of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) who have been displaced due to rental and communal fees will receive a 50,000 dram subsidy starting in 2024. This announcement was made by Minister of Finance, Vahagn Hovhannisyan, during a meeting of the National Assembly on November 15, 2024. Along with this subsidy, funds will also be allocated for utilities, repairs, education, and healthcare expenses.

However, it’s important to note that assistance programs for issues related to housing and employment relocation will not be included in the state budget. These programs will be implemented and approved at the end of the current year in December, according to Hovhannisyan.

Additionally, a significant amount of funds will be allocated to the welfare fund. This allocation aims to resolve financial issues related to funding, as per the Prime Minister’s opinion.
