“Thousands of Artsakh residents find new home in Masis, mayor confirms”

During a meeting with journalists on November 14, the mayor of Masis, David Hambardzumyan, announced that a significant number of inhabitants from Artsakh have moved to Masis. This decision was reached by various authorities. Hambardzumyan explained that this relocation has been happening since the 1990s. Additionally, during a 44-day period, more inhabitants from Artsakh came to Masis with the assistance of their friends. Importantly, the residents of Masis have warmly embraced their new neighbors, ensuring they feel welcomed and not like outsiders. The mayor also mentioned the successful relocation of 12,000 inhabitants from Artsakh to Masis, made possible by kind benefactors.
