“Armenian Prime Minister Holds Consultation on School and Kindergarten Construction Initiative; Urges Strict Adherence to Deadlines”

In the government of the Republic of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently held a regular consultation with regional governors to discuss important matters. One of the main topics of discussion was the government’s program to build, renovate, or reconstruct 300 schools and 500 kindergartens. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of adhering to deadlines and urged relevant authorities to work closely with construction companies, compile lists of schools and kindergartens in each region, and closely monitor the progress of projects to ensure quality.

Similar discussions have taken place in other regions regarding the integration of the unified educational network. The Prime Minister also announced changes in the procedure for providing subsidies and approved a list of works to be carried out in the residential sector, in collaboration with local government leaders. These proposals aim to allocate subsidies based on revised priorities.

During the consultation, the Prime Minister also addressed the comprehensive maintenance and operation of public, state, and local traffic signs, with the goal of improving road safety. He emphasized the need to prioritize winter services and ensure that all necessary preparations are made for the upcoming season.
