On November 13, a car accident took place in the Ararat province of Armenia. At approximately 19:40, an Opel Astra car traveling on the Masis-Vagharshapat highway veered off the road in the village of Sayat-Nova-Mizamik. The vehicle struck a utility pole and ultimately crashed into a house, resulting in extensive damage.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver sadly lost their life at the scene of the accident. However, one passenger was able to receive immediate assistance from local residents before being transferred to the “Erebuni” clinical center by the emergency medical team from Masis medical center.

Several eyewitnesses who were present at the scene mentioned that the deceased driver hailed from Azat village and was serving in the RA AF base. They also informed that this tragic incident occurred amidst a severe snowstorm on January 19 of this year, which led to the death of one military serviceman. There is also speculation that the driver may have encountered a health problem, potentially related to the heart, while operating the vehicle.
