NEWS.am reached out to Aram Torosyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, for comment on the transfer of military technology information and photos from France to Armenia. These materials have been circulating on social media platforms. It has been reported that France has sent a significant number of Bastion armored vehicles and the corresponding equipment to Armenia.

“At this time, we are unable to provide any additional information regarding the cooperation between Armenia and France in the defense field, including official statements and announcements on this matter,” stated Aram Torosyan.

It is worth noting that Yerevan and Paris signed a memorandum of cooperation in the defense sector on October 23rd. Speculation about the provision of technical support for military technology has been circulating since May-June of this year from various sources.
