Headline: Head of the RA MoES Araksya Svajyan Commences Training for “Formal and Informal Education System in Armenia” Program

Head of the RA MoES, Araksya Svajyan, actively participated in the preparation of the “Formal and Informal Education System in Armenia” training course today. This training is part of the “Improvement of Vocational Education and Training and Education in the South Caucasus” program, initiated by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).

The training, according to the MoES announcement to NEWS.am, aims to familiarize representatives of the National Center for Professional Education and Education (NCPEE) with the evaluation of previously conducted research and the processes of recognizing the results, while also presenting international practices.

At the beginning of the training session, Araksya Svajyan addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of formal and informal education in the development and implementation processes. She stated, “Activities aimed at developing, improving, and supporting the education system, as well as creating a system that understands existing potentials and implements them in Armenia, are extremely important.” The minister also highlighted that the results of the course will contribute to the development of the corresponding field and its establishment in the non-academic sector.

The training course, led by Dr. Harry Stolten from Germany, who brings his 33 years of experience in NCPEE, will continue until November 16.
