“Netanyahu Urges Caution in Ministers’ Statements on Gaza Conflict: Every Word Matters, Says Israeli Prime Minister”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has advised his ministers to exercise caution when making public statements about the conflict, as reported by the Times of Israel. During a government meeting, Netanyahu emphasized the importance of speaking intelligently, stating, “Every word has intelligence when speech reflects intelligence. If you don’t know, don’t speak.” This warning is believed to be in response to recent statements made by Defense Minister Avi Dichter and Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked regarding Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip. Dichter referred to the conflict as a “regional war,” while Shaked suggested the possibility of targeting a naval blockade on Gaza; however, these statements were later clarified as misinterpretations.
