“Tragic Car Accident in Lori Region Leaves Driver Severely Injured: Rescuers Battle Against Time to Save a Life”

On November 11, a major car accident shook the Lori region of Armenia. The incident took place at 16:35 on the Armenia-Georgia border, specifically on a 35 km stretch of the Vanadzor M6 interstate highway. The driver, Vahé Arzumanyan, 51 years old, was behind the wheel of his Ford Transit when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid and collide with a tree. Gagik Shamshyan, a photographer, captured the aftermath and reported that the driver was rushed to the “Alaverdi” medical center due to the severity of his injuries.

The accident not only required medical assistance but also the intervention of rescuers equipped with specialized technology. With the support of local residents and passersby, the trapped driver was successfully extricated from the wreckage.
