OSCE Delegation Visits Armenian Border Areas to Assess Security Implementation

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has reported that representatives from the OSCE visiting delegation visited the border areas of Armenia on November 10-11. The purpose of the visit was to assess the implementation of conventional and technical security arrangements in the military field. On the first day of the visit, the delegation met with representatives and received a briefing on current activities from Lieutenant General Karen Grigoryan, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Following the meeting, the OSCE delegation traveled to the city of Jermuk to meet with the governor of the Syunik region. Discussions during the meeting centered around issues related to the information war and opportunities for cooperation in various areas.

On November 11, a military parade took place at one of the military bases where conscripts of the military medical service were sworn in. Major General Samvel Badasyan, the commander of the military corps, awarded soldiers with certificates during the ceremony.
