Minister of Diaspora Denies Allegations of Government Corruption and Highlights Efforts to Assist Armenian Compatriots

The Minister of Diaspora, Artur Harutyunyan, revealed during an interview with Public Television of Artsakh that regular meetings are conducted with the Government of the Republic of Armenia to discuss and present proposals regarding issues faced by compatriots. Harutyunyan emphasized that the problems are widespread, covering various sectors such as social, educational, and environmental areas. He stated that efforts are being made to establish better communication between the government and the Armenian diaspora to address these issues.

When questioned about the involvement of the current government in governing Armenia and advisory roles, Harutyunyan responded that they currently have no information on this matter.

In response to claims made by some organization founders that officials have received loans under certain conditions or that the government has acquired property for specific officials, Harutyunyan dismissed the allegations, stating that such information is false and condemned by their organization. He mentioned that an audit has been conducted, which revealed no expenditures that deviate from the current budget. Harutyunyan urged law enforcement agencies to verify these claims and take appropriate action if any violations are found.
