“Head of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtychan, Honored for Successful Collaboration with Japan in Improving Work and Social Protection in Armenia”

Today, Narek Mkrtychan, the Head of Labor and Social Affairs, received an honorary diploma from the Ambassador of Japan to Armenia. This diploma recognizes the successful completion of technical cooperation and capacity-building programs in the field of work and social protection in Armenia. It is a testament to Armenia’s active participation in various projects and initiatives conducted through the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Embassy of Japan.

The Ambassador of Japan to Armenia expressed high appreciation for Mkrtychan’s contribution to the welfare of the Armenian people and culture. The minister’s role in promoting social cooperation during his tenure was also commended. Both parties are confident that the existing foundations of cooperation will lead to further enhancements.

Ambassador Fukushima conveyed his gratitude to Minister Mkrtychan for his active involvement in work-related and social assistance programs. Additionally, the ambassador acknowledged Mkrtychan’s comprehensive support for the social assistance provided to internally displaced persons from Artsakh.

In response, Mkrtychan sent a letter of thanks to Ambassador Fukushima for their successful cooperation in the field of work and social protection. They also expressed appreciation for the detailed discussions on international cooperation with partner countries.

The meeting also addressed the possibilities of Japanese assistance in improving the quality of services provided to vulnerable groups in the field of work and social protection.
