Economics Minister Vahan Kerobyan and Japanese Ambassador Discuss Boosting Trade Relations and EXPO 2025 Participation in Armenia

Economics Minister Vahan Kerobyan recently met with Japanese Ambassador Fumushima Massanori in Armenia on November 10. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of trade relations and the expansion of business connections between Armenia and Japan, according to the Ministry of Economy. Among the topics addressed were Armenia’s potential participation in the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan international exhibition.

Ambassador Massanori expressed interest in Armenia’s agricultural production, as well as its culture and history, which are of significance to the Japanese market. Additionally, Minister Kerobyan showcased the “four rivers” project in Armenia and extended an invitation for Japanese companies to participate in these programs.

This meeting marks a positive step in strengthening the ties between Armenia and Japan, as both countries seek to enhance their economic cooperation. It presents an opportunity for Armenia to showcase its potential in various industries and promote its unique cultural offerings to the Japanese market.
