“Artsakh Prime Minister reveals shocking ethnic cleansing and strategic relocation plans amid Azerbaijani offensive”

The administration of Artsakh has made several announcements regarding the situation in the region. According to Artsakh’s Prime Minister, Artur Harutyunyan, there have been reports of Azerbaijani ethnic cleansing targeting residents who have expressed a desire to join Armenia. Additionally, there is a need to provide aid to the city of Stepanakert, which is facing a shortage of citizens due to the ongoing conflict.

In an interview with a television company in Artsakh, Harutyunyan explained that due to the lack of electricity and disrupted communication, it was difficult to relay information to their country in a timely manner. However, local groups organizing evacuation efforts have mentioned that the process is expected to last for three days. Those who are being relocated to the Republic of Armenia will be sent there, while those who are not will receive a second notice, indicating that they will not be allowed to leave.

During the war, there were no humanitarian deliveries as the Azerbaijani authorities did not see a need for them. However, after the conflict ended, the situation changed. The Martakert and Martuni regions were fully involved in the conflict, leading to the creation of humanitarian deliveries. These deliveries are currently only being provided to settlements that have expressed a desire to join Azerbaijan or for settlements located near Azerbaijani forces.

Harutyunyan also mentioned that the airport and strategic defense areas, where the regular army and military equipment are present, have seen the first exodus of people. The situation in Artsakh remains complex, with ongoing negotiations and efforts to gather information about the wellbeing of residents in the region.
