Under the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, a list of scientific centers has been approved for the purpose of upgrading scientific devices and instruments. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports will fund 18 state scientific organizations and institutes of higher education and research, providing them with 41 devices and instruments worth a total of AMD 2,853 million.

The organizing institution is required to provide financial reports on the equipment’s operation, work performed, and results achieved. The procurement process will adhere to the procedure defined by the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Procurement.”

During the evaluation of equipment purchase proposals, not only the necessity for scientific activities will be considered, but also the organizing institutions’ foundations, maintenance and operation mechanisms, operation costs, and potential income generation. The expertise of technicians experienced in operating the equipment will also be taken into account.
