“President Aliyev Optimistic About Reconciliation Efforts with Armenia, Highlights Infrastructure Development”

Military forces in Armenia and Azerbaijan have made attempts in recent years to reconcile their friendly relations, according to the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, who made the announcement after a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. However, these attempts have not yielded the desired results. President Aliyev expressed confidence that his neighbors will not deviate from their goals.

Aliyev also expressed gratitude for the construction of a bridge by representatives from Iran and Azerbaijan, connecting the northern and southern shores of the Aras River and the Caspian Sea. He believes that this project will be implemented in the near future and will serve as a major transportation corridor between the East and West. “Ultimately, we will have two routes – one through Astara and one through Agband, and both will be accessible to our neighbors and partners in other countries,” added Aliyev.

Meanwhile, in Armenia, NEWS.am reported that there are ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The details and progress of these efforts have not been disclosed at this time, but it demonstrates that both countries are actively working towards improving their relationship.
