Unfair Trial and Injustice: Former Minister Exposes Azerbaijan’s Treatment of Vagif Khachatryan

The Azerbaijani court has refused to provide a fair trial or release 68-year-old Vagif Khachatryan, as revealed by MIP Arman Tatoyan, the former Minister of Environment of Armenia, on his Facebook page. Tatoyan expressed his belief that the intent behind this trial was to fabricate accusations using false evidence and manipulate the process with injustice. Being a victim of the Azerbaijani occupation, Khachatryan has already endured 15 years of captivity. Unfortunately, it appears unlikely that he will receive any justice or support from the international community in addressing the humanitarian challenges faced by the people of Artsakh in this particular matter. The answers to the crucial questions remain elusive at present.

Despite the persistent efforts of Armenian villages and cities to fortify the frontline, the presence of Azerbaijani armed infiltrators on the roads poses a perpetual threat to our citizens. Furthermore, the aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani side persist, as their country operates under a regime that lacks accountability, reminiscent of fascism.
