Man Hospitalized and Methamphetamine Stash Seized in Ararat Region’s Environmental Debacle: Investigations Underway
Ararat regional authorities have alerted the environmental department’s partners about the detrimental environmental conditions in the area.
As a result of an accidental release of Ammonium Nitrate, a 43-year-old man has been hospitalized.
According to information received by NEWS.am, a personal investigation of the package revealed a 0.12 gram substance similar to methamphetamine. The individual claimed that the substance was methamphetamine obtained from Telgram and intended for personal use.
On November 6, another report was received regarding the discovery and seizure of a kilogram of a substance derived from a certain tree in the house of a 44-year-old resident of Mrgashat village. During a customs clearance campaign, a total of 993 grams of methamphetamine were found in the trunk of a car used for personal transportation.
The man admitted to buying, reselling, and using the drugs for personal purposes.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
