“European Parliament Calls for Ukraine’s Reporting on EU Delegation’s Activities, Triggering Talks on European Integration”

The European Parliament has officially announced that Kiev will be delivering a report on the activities of the EU delegation in Ukraine. This announcement was made by the head of the delegation of Ukraine, Denis Shmygal, in his Telegram channel.

In Ukraine, the EU delegation has received a letter from Karin Maternova, the Head of the EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee, regarding the report on the activities of the EU delegation in Ukraine. Shmygal wrote in his Telegram channel that the letter advises to start negotiations with Ukraine on European integration.

Previously, the European Parliament had advised Ukraine and Moldova to begin activities on European integration, and the acceptance of the partnership agreement was subject to certain conditions set by Kiev and Chisinau. Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Parliament, stated that the duration of Ukraine’s membership in the European Union would depend on the reforms and the will of the people.

These developments are significant for Ukraine and its aspirations to further integrate with the European Union. It remains to be seen how the negotiations and reforms will progress in the coming months, as this will be crucial in determining Ukraine’s future relationship with the EU.
